If you enjoy working with high-quality and above all regional food and like working in a team, then you've come to the right place.
Dual study program in gastronomy management:
Do you like inviting people and enjoy entertaining others? Are you interested in the business side of gastronomy? Then do a dual study program with us and our partner iba. Modern gastronomy has a changed status in society. Topics such as conscious and healthy eating are playing an increasingly important role, and gastronomy is becoming more and more of an experience. In our dual Bachelor's degree program, you will be comprehensively prepared for working in management positions in the catering industry.

This is how the training works:
Both the traditional vocational training and the degree course at the IBA are run in the dual system. Professional practice and teaching alternate. Our trainees have block lessons or one school day per week. Our dual students have two study days at the university of cooperative education and work 24 hours a week (3 days) in the company.
During their training, our trainees are deployed in all areas (kitchen, service, bar, administration), which vary depending on the job profile. Our trainees are instructed and supported by trainers as well as kitchen and restaurant masters.
In addition to practical and classroom training, we also conduct in-house training, e.g. food hygiene, HACCP training, trips to our suppliers and external training (brewery tours, wine seminars, behavior seminars, complaint management and sales training).
